About us
OUR STORY
Founded in 2017, Luckysummer Environmental & Waste Management Organization (LEWMO) began with a vision to create a cleaner, greener community in Luckysummer Ward, Nairobi County. Our consortium of 15 organized groups empowers local residents—ages 18 to over 50, with the majority being under 35 years, to tackle solid waste management and environmental conservation together.
We engage our community through hands-on training, sports activities, and weekly clean-ups, transforming waste into opportunities. By collaborating with key stakeholders, we promote sustainable practices and enhance livelihoods.
